Here’s how a 🏀 bounce! It follows the law of free fall described below:

$$ h = \frac{1}{2}gt^2 + v_0 t + h_0 $$

In our example, $v_0$ is zero and $h_0$ is the top of the canvas. Also for the sake of being able to animate the movement, we are adding a constant horizental velocity. Here’s the result:
